CIMB wanted to attract new customers by giving them free holidays around the world – something pretty much every other bank does. We had to ask ourselves: how can we make CIMB’s holiday promo stand out?
In Singapore, employees are entitled to a standard of 14 days a year – not nearly enough for a proper round-the-world trip. So, to make CIMB’s promo more enticing, we took it up a notch by offering to pay not just for the flights and accommodations, but also the salaries of everyone who’ll have to take unpaid leave to enjoy our prize.
